The sky over New York City has turned scarlet. A enormous rift in space, throbbing with dark energy, had opened above Stark Tower. An terrifying figure emerged from within, dressed in black armor and with glaring red eyes that scanned the metropolis below.
Doctor Strange, standing on the roof of the Sanctum Sanctorum, sensed the disturbance before he saw it. He closed his eyes and whispered incantations, attempting to determine the nature of the threat. The energy emitted by the rift was unlike anything he had ever seen—older than time itself and destructive beyond measure.
Tony Stark, dressed as Iron Man, flew toward the disturbance, his HUD examining the thing that floated before him. “Jarvis—no, Friday—tell me you’re not seeing things. “That guy looks like a cross between Thanos and an apocalyptic horror movie.”
“Sir,” Friday’s voice said, “the energy measurements are off the charts. Whatever it is, it exceeds the scope of any recognized threat.”
Steve Rogers, Captain America, stood on a nearby rooftop, holding his shield. Beside him, Natasha Romanoff adjusted her widow’s bite gauntlets. “I don’t like the look of this,” she said.
Thor landed with a thud alongside them, twirling Mjolnir and looking up at the thing in the sky. “This power—it reeks of destruction.”
The thing spoke, and his voice echoed throughout the city. “I’m Doomsday. I’m the end of your world.
A terrible quiet ensued
Then, the attack began

Doomsday lifted his hand, and horrific creatures emerged from the rift—twisted abominations of flesh and metal with glowing red eyes. They landed throughout the city, smashing into streets, cars, and buildings. The people of New York yelled and fled in fear.
Iron Man fired his repulsors, striking one of the beasts, but it hardly moved before lunging for him. Captain America leaped into action, slamming his shield against another, sending it flying. Thor summoned lightning, destroying dozens at once, yet they continued coming.
Doctor Strange opened a portal, bringing Wong and a slew of sorcerers. “We must close the rift,” Strange exclaimed. “If it grows, the entire planet is doomed!”
Doomsday raised his arm and, with a single movement, launched a shockwave that sent heroes flying. Hulk smashed into a structure and groaned as he attempted to get up. Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, levitated, her eyes burning red, and hurled hex bolts at the huge adversary.
Doomsday gave a laugh. “Your magic is nothing to me.” He squeezed his fist, and reality distorted. Strange and Wanda shouted as they felt their power being stripped away.
Iron Man gritted his teeth and activated his nanotech armor’s most powerful weapon: a concentrated unibeam blast. It struck Doomsday in the chest, but the monster just absorbed the energy and returned it tenfold. Stark nearly escaped in time.
“We need a new plan!” Natasha screamed, flipping over an attacker and stabbed it in the head.
Black Panther appeared, leading Wakandan warriors alongside Okoye and Shuri. “Then let’s fight smarter,” he growled. His vibranium claws cut through the animals with accuracy. Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, came in with his wings to join the battle from above.
Meanwhile, Strange battled to preserve the purity of reality. “We have to sever his connection to the rift!”
“I have an idea,” Thor exclaimed. He invoked Stormbreaker, causing a cosmic storm. The sky darkened, and lightning flashed madly. “I’ll strike with all the power of Asgard!”
“Not alone,” Steve Rogers replied. He squeezed his fist, and Mjolnir returned to his grasp. The two warriors exchanged nods before pushing forward together.
Doomsday noticed them coming and released another burst of evil energy. Steve flung his shield, deflecting it, as Thor unleashed a lightning bolt so powerful that it split the heavens. The combined force of their attacks hit Doomsday square in the face, causing him to retreat for the first time.
But it wasn’t enough.
Doomsday bellowed, and his armor crumbled, exposing his real form: a being of pure darkness with glowing veins of red energy running through him. He tightened his fists, and reality bent to his will. The heroes cried as they were temporarily imprisoned in a void of emptiness.
And then, just as everything seemed gone, a great golden light shone through the darkness.
Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel, dropped from the heavens, her energy aura shining like a star. “I’ve had enough of this,” she exclaimed, flying directly toward Doomsday, her fists gleaming with cosmic force. The crash caused shockwaves throughout the city.
Doomsday reeled, but replied by seizing Carol and throwing her to the ground. She coughed blood but didn’t give up. “I’ve fought gods before,” she said angrily. “You’re nothing special.”
Meanwhile, in Wakanda, Shuri and Bruce Banner labored tirelessly in a secret lab. “If we can create a counter-frequency to disrupt his energy field…” Shuri began.
Banner gave a nod. “Then we can weaken him enough for the others to finish him off.”
They ignited a gigantic apparatus, which sent pulses into the air. Doomsday howled, his energy flickering.
When Tony Stark saw the opportunity, he took a catastrophic decision. “Friday, activate Protocol Omega.” “Sir,” Friday said hesitantly, “this will overload the suit.”
“I know,” Tony murmured. He gazed at Peter Parker, Spider-Man, who was fighting in the background. “Kid… take care of them.”
Peter’s eyes widened. “Mr. Stark, no!”
But Tony had already launched himself into Doomsday, his arc reactor burning hotter than ever. “This is for Earth.” With a final, catastrophic explosion, he directed all of his energy into Doomsday’s core.
The villain screamed as fissures appeared on his body, the darkness within him unraveling. The rift above started to collapse.
Doctor Strange and Wanda used their powers to seal it. “Now!” Strange demanded.
With one last explosion of energy, Doomsday was no more.
The battlefield fell silent.
Tony slumped on the floor, his armor destroyed and barely breathing. Peter went up to him, tears in his eyes.

“Mr. Stark…” Tony gave a feeble smile. “We did it, kid.”
Carol Danvers, Thor, and Steve Rogers stepped over the remains of Doomsday’s energy, verifying that it was truly gone. The menace was eliminated, but at a cost.
As the Avengers gathered to mourn their departed companion, Nick Fury came forward. “Earth won today,” he announced. “But we need to be prepared. Because of risks such as these? They do not stop.”
Steve Rogers placed his hand on Tony’s arc reactor, which flared one last time. “Then we’ll be ready.”
And thus, the world was rescued. However, the struggle was not truly over.
